It's time to be eccentric.

As you might have guessed by now I have a huge weakness for quirky jewellery. I am building up quite the collection and I have a feeling that it's just about to get much, much bigger.

Whilst reading Look magazine I discovered this amazingly cute jewellery site - Eclectic Eccentricity. Describing itself as selling 'jewellery with inspired kookiness', EE is exactly my kind of style and I cannot wait to purchase my first few items.

A Grand Day Out Bicycle Necklace - £18.50

Some Times Pocket Watch Necklace - £16

Such Romantic Notions Cameo Bracelet - £16.50

Twittering Vintage Heart Necklace - £16.99
As worn by Eliza Doolittle.

Sakura Ring - £8

Be On Your Merry Way Carousel Necklace - Lululuxe - £36

Winging My Way Back To You Necklace - £18.50
As worn by Eliza Doolittle, Peaches Geldof and Pixie Lott.
My personal favourite.

Full of romantic notions and vintage looks I am finding it impossible to resist some of these gorgeous pieces. Some seem expensive compared to high street stores such as Accessorize or jewellery boutique sections of Topshop or Miss Selfridge but the quality looks impressive and many are unlike those you would usually find.

I think my first purchase will be the Winging My Way Back To You Necklace, so I shall be sure to post a review letting you know if the quality is as good as it looks when I do. If it's all successful I think it may become one of my favourite jewellery items.

What's your favourite piece of jewellery?

Hope you've all had a nice Saturday! I've come home to Hook for the week before my work experience starts a week on Monday. Caught up with one of my best friends Paul today who I haven't seen since the Christmas break. So great to catch up.

Have a wonderful Sunday - and remember, be lovely to your mummys!

Spread my wings and fly away

Hi there!

Here's my outfit for today...

I ♥ Toy Story

Cardigan - New Look
Butterfly-wing top - Garden Collection at H&M
Shorts - New Look
Tights - Primark
Hot air balloon necklace - Accessorize

I got this Garden Collection butterfly-wing top from H&M in the summer last year and it has become one of my wardrobe favourites. The gorgeous light peach colour is great for the summer time and it's loose fit makes it so comfortable and cool to wear. I'm usually not a fan of such loose-fitting clothing as I think it can sometimes make me look bigger than I am. But by teaming it with tights and shorts I think it balances the outift out quite well.

The bow tights from Primark were a TOTAL bargain at just £1 in the sale. It seems they were there as they are just a bit too thick to wear in the summer but they are perfect for this time of year when there is still a bit of a breeze hanging around.

I wish this outfit really could fly me away. More than ever I am feeling a need to get out of the country and have a holiday. I didn't get out of the UK at all last year which was so disappointing as travelling around and discovering new places is something that I would love to do more of. I definitely need to start saving some pennies next term to make this possible.

Luckily, in just TWO WEEKS AND TWO DAYS I am off to Paris for the day with my family. I am so excited I can hardly contain it. It's only a day but we plan to squeeze in as much as possible - any recommendations of where we should go? If you know of any good boutique shops I would love some recommendations?

I even have a Paris tee that I think I am going to have to wear. Don't worry though - I won't go too over-the-top-Carrie-Bradshaw on you all. I'm not sure I could pull it off!
