recovering.

Hello ladies :)

Hope you're having a nice day. I've been suffering from a serious wine headache so it's taken me a while to get up and around to posting!

I went out with my housemates last night and we all got dressed up for our friend Stuart's 20th. We had SUCH a good night but boyyy have I suffered today.

This is my dress from Desire clothing which is SO comfortable to wear. It's got loads of give but is lace-look and has a real vintage feel to it. A fitted dress wasn't the best idea with a bottle of wine though - doesn't hide the bloating very well at all!

Sophie (on the left) is wearing the leather-look skirt I wrote about in an earlier post and my housemate Laura (on the right) is wearing a body-con khaki dress from H&M. These two always look gorgeous on night's out - major figure envy. With those bodies I think they can make almost anything look good!

I painted my nails with this Plum Nails Inc polish which I got for FREE when I bought two bottles of Diet Coke in Boots a few weeks ago. Couldn't believe my luck...I love diet coke and this colour is gorgeously seductive - one of my absolute favourite freebies!

A night like that required a comfortable outfit today. I went for a quirky top and chunky cardy to bring me out of my hangover mood. Did the trick quite well really...I was back to my normal self in no time. It's funny how an outfit can change your mood.

Top - H&M
Cardigan - Miss Selfridge
Hairband - New Look

Apologies for the hungover-no-make-up face, I've tried to hide it as much as possible!

I'm really looking forwards to tomorrow. My mum, nan, brother and sisters are coming for a bit of an early birthday celebration. We're going shopping (so hopefully I'll have some new bits to share with you) and then for a beach walk before going to TGI's for a big dinner. What are you guys doing this weekend? Hope you're having a good one.

Sami xx

  1. I love your dress! You looked fabulous! I really like your casual outfit too. Graphic tees and chunky knits are the best.
