Sooo, this morning I spent more money than I really even have. Definitely going to have to budget on essentials now. Oops.
How on earth did I not realise how much good stuff Primark has at the moment?! I'm so glad I went on the Look website last night. After spotting a satchel that I just had to have, I dragged my housemate Sophie into town (well she didn't take much persuasion really) and got some absolute bargains. I'm sure you're already starting to realise that a bargain is one of my favourite things.
Disclaimer - Please excuse my extremely tired, lazy-eyed face - being a student is tiring stuff, y'know.
Jumpsuit - £13
Cardigan - £10
Boots - £19.99 from New Look
I've been looking for a floral jumpsuit that fits me well for ages and who would have thought that it was Primark that came out on top?! It comes in at the waist to give me the shape I need and isn't so long that it completely dwarfs me. BINGO. Aah the perils of being short. The cardigan's going to be just what I need to cover my shoulders until this damn country warms up a bit and it's so neutral that hopefully it will go with almost all of my wardrobe.
I am definitely having a floral stage. And apparently a sailor stage too...
High-waisted sailor shorts - £6 - Primark
AHOY! It's taken me a long time to feel comfortable in anything sailor-like...I don't really like the idea of feeling dressed up. But I really enjoy these. Just like the shorts from yesterday's entry they come in at the waist and float nicely over my problem area butt. I also think they're going to go wonderfully with my new Vestry shoes. Lovely jubbly.
I also went a little bit accessory mad.
Socks - £1.50 - Primark
Scarf - £4 - Primark
Cardigan - Marks and Spencer (Hand me down from Mum - thaaanks)
Satchel bag - £7 - Primark
Yes, this is the satchel bag! Absolutely love it. It might not be real leather or a designer brand but it is going to be so well used. My scarf and bag even went with today's outfit -
Cardigan - Marks and Spencer
Scarf - Primark
High-waisted demin shorts - Miss Selfridge
Such a successful day of shopping. Absolutely wiped out now. Probably should do some uni work I suppose...blogging already seems to come first! I have a feeling it's going to be super addictive.
I'll be back later to show you my housemate Sophie's leather-look skirt - she took the plunge and it looks amazing!
Sami xx
Love the Satchel!!
